The Center for Entrepreneurship Diversity and Education (CEDE) is your one-stop shop for small business success. We help entrepreneurs at every stage, from first-time founders writing a business plan to established owners preparing for their next hire.
Our free resources cover funding and grants, business certifications for woman-owned and minority-owned businesses, marketing and AI tools, market research, and one-on-one mentorship with experienced executives.

At One Less Hat, our mission is to provide affordable, stress-free digital marketing
support to small business owners who are already wearing too many hats. As Oak Park
locals and Dominican University alumni, Lexie ('25) and Casey ('25, '27 MBA) share a passion for helping the businesses that make our community unique. Every day, we pass incredible
family-owned shops, restaurants, and service providers that deserve to be seen by
more people but often don't have the time or resources to market themselves effectively.
That's why we started One Less Hat. By combining the skills and knowledge we gained
at Dominican University with our commitment to serving the local community, we help
small businesses strengthen their online presence without adding more to their already
full plates. From website design to social media management, we take care of the
marketing so our clients can focus on what they do best: running their businesses.
